USC MEGA Student Speaker Series

Next up in MEGA's Student Speaker Series is Sheehan Ahmed with Left On Read and the European Bug! Watch the live presentation on Zoom this Friday, September 18 at 5:00 PM PST to learn about Ahmed's experience as an engineer working on Left On Read, a choice-driven narrative platformer where you play as a college freshman texting your crush. During the creation of Left On Read, Ahmed and his team discovered a bug that only affected European players, leaving them hardstuck at the beginning of the game.

Sheehan Ahmed is currently a sophomore at USC pursuing a degree in Interactive Media and Games. Released in May 2020 and with over 200,000 downloads, Left On Read is a quarantine-inspired game about the harsh realities of modern-age communication.
