Gods and Marionettes, presented by the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company with director David Bridel and the wildly popular a cappella group Sonos, is a unique fusion of dance, music and theatre. Based on the great myths of Greek tragedy, the production is inspired by the creatorsâ research into the primitive ingredients of tragic theatreâtext, movement and song. Six singers, six dancers and a single actor will present a startling, epic investigation into the role of the gods in our lives, both ancient and modern.
