  • PhD Application Process: Preparing a CV

    This 5-part workshop is designed to introduce Viterbi undergraduates to the purpose of a pursuing a PhD, and aid in their PhD application process. All Viterbi majors are invited to attend one or more workshops.

    Your CV will be requested for many, if not all, applications. Often, admissions committees start with the CV and use it as the “cut off”. Therefore, it is very important to make sure that your CV contains all of the information, but is also easy to read. We will discuss some of the common mistakes, using before/after examples. We will also go over what you should and should not include on your CV.
