During this seminar, I will review the criteria for the two most common PhD fellowships awarded to engineering graduate students: NSF and NDSEG PhD fellowships. Specifically, we will discuss the application process, the components of the application (CV, essays, letters, scores), and the key points to consider when writing essays. We will also review previous successful applications.
This seminar is targeted to graduating seniors applying to PhD programs and current 1st/2nd year engineering PhD students.Location: Hedco Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Building (HED) - 116
