Professional Development Night

Workshops & Infosessions
Attendance Requirement: Must be a SWE, SHPE or NOBE member (can pay at event)
This event will hold a series of interactive workshops where representatives from different industries will talk about how to build your professional skills. Workshops include the following:
- Utilizing Your Resources
- Acing the Behavioral Interview
- First Impressions: Engaging Recruiters with Your Resume and Pitch
- Mastering the Technical Interview
- Maximizing Your College Experience
- Networking Etiquette
Industry representatives will also be conducting mock interviews for those who sign up in the CED office. The night will end with a networking dinner to allow representatives and SWE members to interact on a more personal level.
This event is co-hosted by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and National Organization of Business and Engineering (NOBE). Confirmed company presence includes Disney Imagineering, Accenture, Intel, Microsoft, Booz Allen Hamilton, Turner Construction, Sandia National Labs and Eaton Corporation.Location: Ronald Tutor Campus Center (TCC) - Forum (450)
