Biography


I am an assistant professor at the department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California. Prior to joining USC, I was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University working with Professor David Tse. I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering with minor in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota under the supervision of Professor Tom Luo. I obtained my MS degree in Mathematics under the supervision of Professor Gennady Lyubeznik and Professor Tom Luo.

Research Summary


I am passionate about the design and study of efficient large scale data analysis algorithms and tools with applications in bioinformatics, computational biology, machine learning, wireless data communication, and statistical signal processing.
