Biography


Kendra Walther is a full-time lecturer in the Information Technology Program who is currently teaching ITP 109, the beginning programming class in Java and ITP 368, Programming Graphical User Interfaces. Kendra has her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College, and a master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park. She has worked for the Aerospace Corporation and taught Computer Science at Cal State LA, St. Albans School, and Milwaukee School of Engineering. Kendra is passionate about teaching and is constantly trying to find more ways to help her students understand the principles of programming.
