Biography


Quntao Zhuang joined the USC Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in August 2022. He received his B.A. in physics from Peking University in 2013 and Ph.D. in physics in 2018 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Before coming to USC, he was an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Optical Sciences at University of Arizona.

Dr. Zhuang received the NSF CAREER award in 2022 and DARPA Young Faculty Award in 2020, which is selected as DARPA Director’s award in 2022.
