Girl Scouts Badge Day
Sat, Apr 01, 2006 @ 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Viterbi School of Engineering Student Affairs
Student Activity
Do you want to make an impact on a young girl's future? Well here is your chance! SWE is hosting their annual Girl Scout Badge Day for 6th-8th grader girls on April 1st from 9am - 3pm and we need bright people like you as volunteers! We will be hosting workshops like extracting DNA from strawberries, making rollercoasters out of jelly beans, using Solidworks, building circuits, and fun stuff like that! We need volunteers to lead these workshops and be troup leaders. As a troup leader, you will be leading your group of girls (around 10) to each of the 6 workshops, talking with your girls and helping them with the workshops if necessary. This is also a great way to see all of the workshops we're putting on! Free lunch will be provided as well. :)
If you're interested in volunteering, please email sweuscgsbd@gmail.com with your name, phone number, major and year!Audiences: Everyone Is Invited
