INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSOCIATION (ISA) PRESENTS What: Protiviti Info Session When: Wednesday, Oct 8, 2008, 6:30PMWhere: HOH 303WWW: http://www.protiviti.com/ Protiviti is a global consulting and internal audit firm composed of experts specializing in risk and advisory services. The firm helps clients solve problems in finance, operations, technology, litigation and GRC. Our highly trained, results-oriented professionals serve clients in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East and provide a unique perspective on a wide range of critical business issues. Companies worldwide view their risks much differently than they did just a few years ago, as today's regulatory environment and closely monitored markets mandate strong corporate governance. Management and boards of directors are wary of issues that can steer their businesses in the wrong direction, lead to financial restatements, or expose their companies to too much risk. More than ever before, these organizations are mindful of the need to identify, assess, manage and monitor their risks. Increasingly they are turning to Protiviti for the expertise they need to assist them in achieving greater success through effective risk management.Since Protiviti's inception in May 2002, the firm has become recognized worldwide as a leading expert in internal audit and risk management, as well as a thought leader in areas that include the complexities and challenges of complying with regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Further, Protiviti's expertise has been recognized by Forrester Research on several occasions, including being ranked as a Leader in risk consulting services (2007) and also being ranked as a Leader in enterprise risk management (ERM) consulting (2005).Protiviti is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Half International Inc. (NYSE symbol: RHI), the world's first and largest specialized staffing firm. The company launched in 2002 when Robert Half International reached an employment agreement with Arthur Andersen LLP to hire approximately 760 professionals from the firm's U.S. internal audit and business risk consulting practices. These practices operated separately from Andersen's external audit and attestation services.Representatives from Protiviti will give us valuable information about their company and offer possible opportunities for students.
