Van Der Graaf Weekend Build Project

Join us as we have our first weekend build of the semester. We will be constructing a fully-operational Van der Graaff generator that's manually-operated. It will be this Saturday, Dec. 1st at Noon (12pm) at the Gakusei Kei House (727 W. 30th Street). This is going to be a great opportunity to get some hands-on experience building, so we hope to see you there!

*This trip is for current USC students only. You must use the provided transportation to participate. Space is limited and advance registration is required. RSVP at the link above beginning Wednesday, November 7, at 9 a.m. Check-in for the event will begin at 5:15 p.m. on campus. Buses will depart at 6 p.m. and return to campus at 11:15 p.m. Dinner will be provided at check-in.
USC students will take a trip to the LA Opera to see Madame Butterfly. In Pucciniâs classic opera, a love that knows no boundaries goes horribly wrong in a fateful meeting of East and West. What begins as an idyllic liaison in an enchanting land of cherry blossoms turns into the heartbreaking tragedy of an abandoned bride forced to make an excruciating decision. This stunning production, never before seen in Los Angeles, melds sumptuous costumes with evocative period scenery.
